In addition to the high-quality sharpening, maintenance, and repair that I provide for my clients, I provide specialized service for ordering new boots and blades, which includes precise measurements, photographs, and alignment with skating level and style. In particular, I specialize in Harlick, Edea, SP-Teri, Riedell, Risport, and Graf boots and MK, John Wilson, Skate Science and Eclipse blades. At a young age, I observed my father as he sharpened skates for everyone in our club in Great Falls, Montana between the years 1965-1972. I was fascinated with the process, and as a skater, I appreciated a high-quality sharpening. So I became an apprentice to my father. When I moved to Michigan in 1972, I sharpened skates for the Michigan State Hockey team and provided them with general skate maintenance as well. I moved to Colorado Springs in 1975 and continued my competitive career in pairs figure skating, training at Sertich Ice center and the old World Arena.
