Dr. Chabokrow joined Southwest Austin Foot & Ankle Clinic in 2015 and is excited to be part of the collaborative environment of the Southwest Medical Village . She graduated from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and continued her training with a demanding foot and ankle surgical residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has extensive experience in all facets of sports medicine injuries, as well as treating pediatric patients.
Dr. Chabokrow is on staff at all of the St. David’s Hospitals in Austin and serves as an active surgeon and consultant for inpatient foot and ankle conditions. She also provides podiatric care at a variety of skilled nursing facilities in the central Texas area.
Dr. Chabokrow has a strong interest in working with pediatric patients and has participated in the Baja Project for Crippled Children. Additionally, she serves as a board member for Heal Kenya, a global outreach program of Dell Children’s Hospital. She has travelled to Kenya with other health professionals to meet the medical needs of children in impoverished areas.
Dr. Chabokrow is originally from San Antonio and now lives in Austin with her husband. Her hobbies include playing the piano and the oboe, cooking and baking, and becoming even more proficient in sign language. She is fluent in Spanish and Farsi and is able to communicate in American Sign Language.
