About Long, Reher & Hanson
The term “Elder Law” was coined as an area of law to serve older clients. It has since evolved into a practice that serves clients of any age who are living with disabilities or who are planning ahead for possible incapacity as they age.
We understand how expensive it is to pay for care.
We know the physical and social barriers you might face.
We are aware of your fear and stress in wondering how you will manage.
We understand the desire to protect your family.
We know the law and how to apply it to help you.
The Minnesota law firm of Long, Reher & Hanson was founded in 1993 to provide legal services to the elderly and people with disabilities. Together, our knowledgeable attorneys have more than 85 years of combined legal experience representing clients within the key practice areas of special needs and Elder Law. Over time these practice areas have evolved to include legal services for persons of any age who are living with disabilities or who are planning ahead for possible incapacity as they age.
Our attorneys are respected in the community and by their peers and are frequently recognized among Minnesota’s top Super Lawyers.* State and county employees, nursing homes and hospitals, senior organizations, financial planners, attorneys and private individuals are frequent referral sources. The firm also has established relationships with county financial workers and state administrators to serve clients seeking Medical Assistance and Veterans Benefits.
