|About||Elderly Residential Group Home|
Margie is a certified nursing assistant and has been caring for the elderly since she was 16. She acquired her CNA Certification back in 1992 In Lombard Illinois and worked for Lexington Nursing Home for over 15 years. Excelling at what she does, she was promoted as a rehabilitation assistant and later clinical assistant manager. When we moved to Dallas back in 2010, she tackled the business of in-home care. Starting with just 1 resident, she performed as a caregiver for an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s part time until she was trusted to care for her full time in our own home. This resident had been residing with us since winter of 2011.
Today, we would like to open our home for other’s that needs care. Margie has been a very good home maker and is excellent in home cooking in a variety of cuisine. Being a Rehabilitation Assistant, she performs daily exercises and fun activities daily to keep the energy and interest up for the resident.
Our children who also live with us in the facility participate in assisting. We watch TV together, have dinner together, play games, and care for our pet Dogs in the house. We would outside meeting the neighbors for conversation and tea time.
The environment that we offer is definitely not the same as an institutional retirement home or nursing facility. The meal serving is definitely family style and the company is very personal. When you’re here, you live here with us. When you’re here, you’re home.
About the Facility:
