I've always loved exercising my body, dancing was a huge part of my life growing up - so when I tried Pilates for the first time I was instantly hooked. I felt so much positive energy after a class, which kept me coming back time and time again. After attending regular classes I noticed my strength increasing, my joints were more mobile and my abs had never been better!
I think it is important for us all to take 'time out' as life can be so fast paced. Pilates definitely allows for relaxation as you concentrate and focus on beautiful imagery described through each exercise - yet you can work your body as hard as you like by opting for the level that suits your mood/ability in each session.
I have set up Lydia Pilates because I believe anyone and everyone can benefit from this type of exercise and it not only brings effective results but also supports us in living life to the full, staying motivated and feeling great in our own skin. :)
