Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area cover
Mission Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Description

Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, ages 2 ½ through 18, who live in Northern California (17 counties from Monterey to Oregon border). One of the largest of 61 Make-A-Wish chapters throughout the U.S., Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area was the 25th chapter to form in 1984 with J.D.’s wish to meet Kit the car from the television show “Knight Rider.” More than 7,800 wishes later, the Greater Bay Area chapter still strives to grant a magical wish to every medically-eligible child in our territory.
