Team, it is with great pleasure and honour that I formally announce that Manica Zimbabwe has been awarded the ZNCC 2nd runner up prize of ‘Best Corporate Social Responsibility – HIV & AIDS Program’ in recognition of its leadership in promoting HIV & AIDS prevention and awareness at the work place for the year 2011! First and foremost I wish to congratulate each and every one of you for, directly or indirectly, getting involved in this noble exercise. Here please allow me to single out the following:
Our pear educators based at all the main centres of our network who continue to be enthusiastic participants and leaders at local level in the program at all times.
Our national coordinator for the hands on and passion with which she is driving the activities country-wide • The human resources department for the leadership in spearheading a participative rollout involving both internal and external stakeholders and, least but not least.
All our employees country-wide who continue to volunteer for testing hence becoming torch bearers in promoting good health, both at work and at home It is my hope that by this national recognition we can all continue to practice a culture of ‘good health begins with me’.
