For 36 years, we have supported women from developing countries in their pursuit of higher education.
The Margaret McNamara Education Grants (formerly known as MMMF) is a nonprofit, public charity, founded in 1981, which awards education grants to exceptional women from developing countries, who are at least 25 years old, and enrolled at universities in the US, Canada and selected universities in South Africa, Argentina, Guatemala, Peru, Colombia and Mexico.
Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG) was founded in 1981 in memory of Margaret Craig McNamara, who dedicated her life to improving the lives of underserved women and children at home and overseas. MMEG was originally called the Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF), and was rebranded in 2015.
