Recognizing that the planet and its life forms have an inherent worth, and that we have a responsibility to treat the earth and its processes with respect, The Blue Ridge Wildlife Institute is dedicated to the stewardship of the earth through environmental education, research, and the rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned native North American wildlife.
BRWI is a wildlife rehabilitation facility located in western North Carolina. The center takes in more than 1000 injured, sick or orphaned wild animals yearly with the goal of returning them to the wild. BRWI is affiliated with Lees-McRae College of Banner Elk, NC and is a non-profit organization.

We are looking for donations to help the animals. Items such as animal enclosures(5-10g aquariums, bird cages, kennel crates), toys, newspaper, towels/blankets, cleaning products, and fresh produce are always needed. Monetary donations are appreciated as well.
