Mekong Rustic Can Tho

Mekong Rustic is a community-based project founded by Huong Duong Travel Management Company with the representative of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bich since December 2014. Mekong Rustic is built on the basis of cooperation, training and investment in Cai be and Tan Phong Isles and then Phong Dien town, Can Tho city for local households. It includes tranining sessions specialized in tour-guide skills, product and services knowledge, homestay, on-board service and F&B. Mekong Rustic does not benefit any individuals but all households participating in the project and support the local community as well as sustainable tourism industry in Tan Phong, Cai Be, Tien Giang and Phong Dien town, Can Tho.

The project aims to introduce Mekong people’s daily activities to visitors, improve the local living standard, preserve traditional handicraft villages, culture values and develop sustainable tourism locally and nationally.
