Mercer County Ambulance exists to provide the best possible
pre-hospital care to all people in our region with compassion and competence.
Mercer County Ambulance Service provides emergency ALS and BLS services from two stations, one in Hazen and one in Beulah to all residents and guests of Mercer County.
Our service area is 1,015 square miles and a county population of 8,600.
Our service began as volunteer based, and is still largely volunteers, which consists of EMR's, EMT's, EMT-I's, and a Paramedic. We also have 4 FT EMT's and 6 Paramedics (3 FT, 2 PRN, and 1 Volunteer).
