Mission To help improve skin tone, reduce signs of aging, manage pain, lower inflammation, improve athletic performance and mitigate depression.
Description To understand why I do what I do, you have to go back to my earlier years. I have been in sports all my life and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Health Promotion. I have had numerous injuries throughout high school from sprained ankles all the way to a tore ACL/MCL and a chipped knee cap. I always hated being sidelined and hoped to be able to return to the love of sports as quickly as I could. I work out 6 days a week including lifting weights and running at least 2-4 miles a day. That can take a toll on your body. Whole Body Cryotherapy is a pretty cool process. So allow me to explain a way to heal your body faster, take the pain away from sore muscles, lose weight, and even make your skin more healthy and younger looking.

Cryotherapy was created in the late 70's for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, the benefits have been studied and refined in Europe since that time. Cryo is considered a non-medical wellness procedure and health insurances do not offer reimbursements for the service at this time.

The chamber is cooled using liquid nitrogen but there is no direct contact with the gas itself. The skin reacts to the cold and sends messages to the brain that acts as a stimulant to the regulatory functions of the body. It produces the scanning of all areas that may not be working to their fullest potential. The skin exposure to the extreme temperature also triggers the release of anti-inflammatory molecules and endorphins

So with all that said, you stand in a chamber with your neck and head exposed for 3 mins at a temperature between -240 and -300F and when you get out you feel great due the release of the endorphins. Once you do about 6-8 sessions you are able to have the results last longer. At this time I try to do it at least 1-2 times a week.

On top of Cryo, I will have the NormaTec Recovery System on site as well. This provides compression and performance recovery. Read more about NormaTec at normatecrecovery.com
