|About||A new Gallery & Arts Centre located on the outskirts of Sudbury, Suffolk, in a former mill, with fantastic views across the River Stour's water meadows.|
Mill Tye Gallery and Art Centre is set by the idyllic River Stour in Great Cornard, just outside the centre of the historic market town of Sudbury, Suffolk. The historic mill building has spectacular views across the river Stour and water meadows for several miles beyond.
Here at Mill Tye Gallery, we will host monthly exhibitions of local contemporary artists, printmakers, sculptors and potters. Our aim is to celebrate new talent and provide a platform for undiscovered artists from across the region.
The mill building also houses a contemporary open space, which lends itself well to courses, art classes and a photographic studio and is available for hire.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Stour Valley has been infamously portrayed by artists John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough, and as such, the area is renowned as a hub for talented creatives.
A special Printworks exhibition will mark our official launch in October: more details will be announced soon!
Free parking is available - located before the crossing, on the left. Look out for the Mill Tye Gallery signs.
