Most weight-loss programs only focus on making short-term changes. They don't address how to deal with triggers and cravings or deal with deep rooted behaviours and thoughts that have led to weight gain.
A fit and healthy body needs a fit and healthy mind, and we will train your body and train your mind to help you lose weight for the last time.
We help you figure out what your triggers are and give you coping strategies. We also show you how to change your habits and figure out how to make sustainable changes to your lifestyle.
Our focus is on behaviour changes that will lead to lasting weight loss. We do this by taking care of our clients in small groups, which guarantees personal attention and we provide you with scientifically proven tools to help you overcome yo-yo dieting.
THE 8 WEEK PROGRAM
Our clients train twice per week in a small group with their own personal trainer in the gym. The training sessions will be geared towards your ability levels and your trainer will ensure that all exercises are carried out in a safe manner.
Group Behaviour Coaching:
In addition, the group meets once a week for group behaviour coaching (CBT coaching) with a psychologist to learn new habits around food and exercise. You will also learn how to cope with emotional eating, identify triggers that lead to overeating and learn strategies that help you implement new behaviours. During the group meetings, weekly weigh-ins will take place.
At the beginning of the program you will take part in a seminar on nutrition and you will get your personal folder with all the information needed for the duration of the program.
