Description Sherri is an educator, certified yoga instructor, and most importantly, a mother of three active boys.

An expert in Mindfulness in Education, Sherri has over 100 hours of mindfulness training including: Mindful Schools curriculum training, mindfulness strategies and concepts, Yoga 4 Classrooms, and MindUp curriculum training. Sherri has been a student in Mindfulness Training sessions with leaders in current neuroscience and research, including Dr. Daniel Siegel, Jon Kabat Zinn and Mindup Curriculum creator, Goldie Hawn. Additionally, Sherri has coursework in Energy Medicine with world renown Donna Eden and Dr. Feinstein.

As an elementary teacher, Sherri introduces students to Mindfulness strategies and techniques. These strategies are implemented and practiced daily, providing a sound foundation for children that transcends the classroom. Students are taught social-emotional skills that will benefit many facets of their lives.

As coaches and trainers recognize the value of incorporating yoga into fitness routines, Sherri offers personalized sport- specific Yoga and Mindfulness sessions. Sherri has tailored programs for area youth sports camps and college athletic teams. With her excellent classroom management skills and experience, Sherri successfully provides instruction to large groups of children and adults of various levels and capabilities.

It doesn’t end there. Sherri offers corporate yoga sessions to area businesses. Many businesses around the world offer corporate yoga to employees to enhance productivity, promote wellness, decrease absenteeism, improve workplace morale, offer a means to destress, and to increase vitality.

Sherri has a BS in Elementary Education from SUNY Oneonta and a MS in Reading from SUNY Cortland.
