The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is led by Sheriff Doug Schuster. The Sheriff's Office covers approximately 13,500 square miles of incorporated and unincorporated areas of Mohave County. Mohave County is located in western Arizona and shares borders with California, Nevada and Utah. Cities and towns in Mohave County include Kingman, Bullhead, Lake Havasu, and many other rural communities. Along with normal law enforcement functions, civil process, search and rescue, jail etc. the Mohave County Sheriff's Office provides waterways law enforcement on the Colorado River from Lake Mead to the Parker Dam. Along with Lake Mead, this portion of the Colorado River includes Lake Mohave and Lake Havasu.
