Several years ago I started taking pictures.. A lot of them. The more people I showed the more I heard "You have an eye for photography, I mean it."
I always liked to take pictures, family, sunsets, cars but the more I thought about it, I liked being able to save moments in time so they wouldn't be forgotten.
About a year ago, a friend put a new door on his old barn, I asked him what he was going to do with the old door, "bonfire" he said. "The hell you are," I said as I put the old door in my truck. He laughed knowing he could always count on me to get rid of his old junk. This was the inspiration for my first picture frame... old barn wood.
The moonshine in Moonshine studios refers not to whiskey but rather to the fact that I hate hot weather and the sun and how much I love the cold. I love the way the moon lights up the woods in the fall or bounces off the snow in the winter.
The outhouse... well that's just cool.
