Description Moore Station is a city in Henderson County, Texas, United States. The population was 184 at the 2000 census.GeographyMoore Station is located at .According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.3sqmi, all of it land.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 184 people, 69 households, and 52 families residing in the city. The population density was 142.1 people per square mile (55.1/km²). There were 78 housing units at an average density of 60.2 per square mile (23.3/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 1.09% White and 98.91% African American.There were 69 households out of which 42.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.5% were married couples living together, 24.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.6% were non-families. 24.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.13.In the city, the population was spread out with 27.7% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 23.4% from 25 to 44, 23.9% from 45 to 64, and 17.4% who were 65 years of age or older.
