|About||My Little Light Foundation, Inc. has been working hard with our members and volunteers to help children and families affected by Childhood Cancer.|
It is our mission to lift some of the financial burden faced by the families of Childhood Cancer patients, so they can concentrate on their child during this difficult time.
There are a number of non-medical costs that families incur that often go overlooked. These cost may include: daycare for siblings, travel expenses to and from the hospital and loss of wages by parents who must quit their jobs to care for their child.
We work with Donation Coordinators, Social Workers and Staff from the Pediatric Oncology Departments at Children's Hospitals and Clinics across the nation to identify families in need of financial assistance, and with your help we provide resources to make caring for their loved one a little less stressful.
We provide the following services:
Financial assistance for household bills, groceries and gas gift cards.
Toys, arts and crafts, and sports event tickets for children and families affected by Childhood Cancer.
Gifts and wishes to siblings of the sick child.
Information to the public to promote public awareness about Childhood Cancer.
Founded in 2016, in memory of our child, Ellis Joseph Taylor, who lost his battle to a Brainstem Glioma at the age of 7 after fighting for 21 months.
The most devastating words I have ever heard were "Your child has cancer and will die." He was brave through the countless radiation and chemotherapy treatments. He touched so many lives in his short time with us.
We are forever grateful for the financial and emotional support we received from doctors, staff, family, friends and fundraisers during our difficult time.
My Little Light Foundation, Inc. has been working hard with the help of our members and volunteers to fund and deliver charitable services to children and families affected by Childhood Cancer and we strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance.
