A loving community of disciples committed to faith in Christ our Savior through repentance and adherence to the Traditions of His Holy Orthodox Church.
Mission
To be a faithful community of disciples of Christ, and to offer the fullness of the Spiritual, Traditional, Aesthetical glory of the Church.
Description
On January 7th, 1915, thirteen faithful Orthodox Christians came together and set out to visit homes singing Christmas Carol. The group received 34 dollars in contributions and decided to send a representative to the nearest Russian Orthodox Community, which was in New Castle, PA, and began to journey to establish a parish in Youngstown, OH.
100 years later, the parish is still going strong, serving the needs of Orthodox Christians, of all ethnicities, living in the Youngstown area. We are a small, but very close parish family who are proud to dedicate our lives to Christ and His Church and teachings. We follow the Old Julian Calendar and welcome all to worship with us.
