A Word On Safety All therapies offered by Natural Elements are intended to complement the treatment given by a Doctor, hospital or other health care provider and should NOT be used as a replacement. Patients should NOT delay or stop taking any prescribed medication and should ALWAYS attend Doctor, hospital or other health care appointments during a course of treatment supplied by Natural Elements.
All therapists employed by Natural Elements are fully qualified, licensed and insured for the therapies offered. In certain circumstances a treatment may be refused if the therapist believes the treatment is not in the patients best interest or if a serious condition is suspected, should this situation occur a referral to a Doctor or hospital would be made.
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical system that is between four and five thousand years old. The therapy involves the insertion of fine, single use sterile needles into specific point on the body to adjust the flow of natural energy and restore balance.
Electro-Acupuncture is a relatively modern therapy that supplies small electrical pulses to inserted Acupuncture needles. This therapy is particularly useful in the treatment of chronic pain conditions such as Arthritis. This therapy is not suitable for patients with electrical implants.
