In 2008, an advertising agency employed one of our co-founders who received a request for a large neon billboard from a client in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Upon conducting preliminary research, he discovered that the cost of traditional neon signs could be prohibitively high and that they were also environmentally unfriendly due to the use of harmful substances such as mercury to enhance the colour of neon gas. To find a more affordable and eco-friendly alternative, he continued his research and found that led neon signs(custom neon signs) were a better option compared to traditional gas neon signs. After a few months of research, he decided to establish his own local workshop that produced handmade led neon signs for local businesses. Neon Fever, headquartered in Toronto, now serves customers in both Canada and the United States.
