Description New Eltham Residents' Association was founded in 1930. It is a non-political association that looks upon local issues with impartiality and non allegiance. The President is Clive Efford the current local Member of Parliament (Eltham Constituency).
As a pressure group for the residents of New Eltham we tackle local issues and concerns and liaise with local Council and Parliament.
Issues such as local police monitoring, building development, traffic watchdog and problems and local transport services are just a few of the wide ranging subjects and problems which are dealt with on a day-by-day basis.
The committee comprises local residents, local businesses, councilors and the local MP. The organization rests solely on the efforts and enthusiasm of volunteers and interested residents
