New Faith Christian Ministries of Mobile, Alabama (Pastor Leonard C. Gwinn & First Lady Lisa M. Gwinn).
Our mission is to introduce Christ as the head of the church, and to teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding that it may be applied to daily life and that we may meet the needs of all walks of life.
STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
We believe that there is one God manifested in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, which represents the Godhead. They are all one, and Jesus was fully God and fully man.
We believe that Jesus always existed and is the Son of God and that he was buried. On the third day, he was resurrected from the dead with a glorified body, and later ascended to heaven where he remains at the right hand of God Almighty.
We believe that after death, eternal life begins either in Heaven or hell. Where you spend eternity is based on your decision to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.
We believe that when the rapture occurs, the dead in Christ will rise first, and then those who are alive and remain (those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior) will be caught up to meet Him in the air.
We believe the Bible was inspired by God.
We believe faith is acting on the Word of God.
We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, in the authority of Jesus’ name.
We believe in the indwelling of, and baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
We believe in the Fivefold Ministry; he gave some Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.
We believe in divine health, the restoration of health to those who believe and act on the truths written in God’s Word. We further believe that Jesus is our Healer and that by his stripes we are already healed.
We believe that communion is symbolically taking of bread which represents his body and the cup represents his blood.
We believe that grace giving, offerings and seed sowing should be freely given to y
