We designed New Moon for people who are passionate about food, particular about coffee and sensitive to ambiance.
Our goal was to make a cup of espresso so authentic, you’d think you were in Firenze.
Our espresso machine is handmade in Italy, and we faithfully follow the methods of the Italian baristas.
At the same time, we love local.
Our restaurant is designed to delight locavores, vegans and other health-conscious eaters.
As members of the Vermont Fresh Network, we use fresh produce from local farms and cheese makers when seasons permit.

We bake our own pastries, cupcakes, bagels and bread every day in our kitchen upstairs from New Moon cafe.
Our cupcakes are like no others in town – all natural, no dyes and no preservatives.
Flavors change with the seasons, and include vegan and gluten-free.
We’re constantly trying to outdo ourselves. For example, we created a vegan menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – available every day in addition to our regular menu.
New Moon coffee shop is now a vegan restaurant within a restaurant!
