Our mission is to help and inspire people through running.
Welcome to the New York Road Runners on Facebook. We’re glad you are here. This page provides a place to discuss all things running, NYRR races, events, youth and community service, and breaking news.
We’ve created some guidelines to help us all get along. Please take a minute to read them and keep them in mind whenever you participate.
We welcome all questions and commentary, including constructive feedback, but we do expect that you only post content and commentary that is both relevant and respectful to our community as a whole. NYRR reserves the right to remove any posts that don’t adhere to our guidelines and to block anyone who violates them repeatedly. Specifically, we will not tolerate these kinds of posts:
• Abusive, harassing, stalking, hateful, threatening or attacking others
• Defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depicting violence
• Violations of any intellectual property rights
• Spamming in nature
• Commercial solicitation or solicitation of donations
• Link baiting
• Fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful
• Trolling or deliberate disruption of discussion
If you see content that is in violation of this policy and it has not already been flagged or removed, please feel empowered to report it to Facebook directly.
Pages and individuals that tag NYRR on their Facebook posts may appear on our timeline. This does not imply endorsement or sponsorship.
By using or accessing this page, you agree to comply with Facebook’s Terms and Conditions. While we are excited to hear from everyone, it is important to note that postings by fans to NYRR’s Facebook page do not necessarily reflect the opinions of NYRR, nor does NYRR confirm their accuracy.
NYRR will do its best to address questions or comments raised here on Facebook. If you need more immediate assistance, please contact us during our hours of operation http://www.nyrr.org/nyrr-hours-of-operation-and-2013-holiday-schedule at 855-5MY-NYRR or firstname.lastname@example.org.
