|About||The North Bellarine Film Festival will be launched in 2017 featuring international films, an academic film symposium and a virtual reality display. The event will be held from November 17 to 19 in Drysdale and Portarlington. Short films by young Australian film makers and a children’s film will be included in the festival.|
To bring the North Bellarine community together in a 'Festival of Film' which includes film screenings and other activities relevant to film culture and other community interests.
Encourage local and non-local audiences over a weekend, providing an environment where audiences may experience a wide range of films in a comfortable, cinematic environment and discuss them with like-minded people.
|Description||The inaugural North Bellarine Film Festival will be launched in November 2017 with four international films to be screened. The festival is supported by RMIT University, the Federation of Victorian Film Societies, Blue Pen Publishing, the Portarlington Neighbourhood House, and the Portarlington Film Society. It follows a successful trial event in 2016, a Celebration of Film, which was run by the Portarlington Film Society.|
