|About||The Northside Compassion Project is an organization located in Knightdale, NC that provides transitional housing to residents of Eastern Wake County.|
|Mission||The Northside Compassion Project is a non-profit organization providing transitional housing that bridges the gap between homelessness and independent living. We offer single parents and their children a helping hand through local transitional homes while they pursue their dreams of a permanent home. Partnering with local shelters, we walk with the residents while creating stability and encouraging independence as they pursue their goals and reach their God-given potential.|
The Northside Compassion Project began in 2013 with a vision - to end homelessness in our community by supporting the people working hard for a better future.
In 4 years, we have developed a plan to make this vision a reality. Through a community-driven group of skilled volunteers, craftsman and resources, our board-led organization acquires, renovates, and maintains transitional homes in Knightdale, NC.
Partnering with the Raleigh Rescue Mission’s Jobs for Life program, we provide their graduating single parents a short-term, fully-furnished transitional home in which to practice their skills for a thriving future. This haven experience provides the stability these mothers and fathers need to build a brighter tomorrow for themselves and their children.
Our mission and work is fueled by the love of Jesus Christ. That love fuels our creativity, innovation and passion for our entire community.
