O Health & Fitness was created by former Solider, MMA enthusiast, Scuba Instructor and FIT College student Oscar Watson.
What I hope to accomplish is to use this space to teach and train people who wish to better themselves.
Background and Interests:
I have spent 10 years in the Army, in that time I have done countless hours of cross training,physical and mental exercise.
Being pushed to the extremes of what fitness can be.
Over those years practicing various Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Self Defence.
Because I couldn't swim I thought I would throw myself in the deep end and became a Scuba Instructor, teaching on the Great Barrier Reef.
I have played every sport I possibly could, Basketball being a favourite.
And now I find myself looking at a career in Personal Training, with the goal of learning all I can to help others feel great about themselves.
After FIT College:
I plan on gaining more knowledge after the FIT College course to better myself and my ability to aid others in achieving their goals.
Areas of interest are in Strength & Conditioning, Fascial Stretching, Crossfit Instruction, and I will be looking at attending University for further study within the Health field.
Though the process doesn't happen overnight, so I hope to take what I have learnt from my past and from this course and apply it in a gym environment.
