To create a non-dieting community interested in mindful eating, mindfulness, nutrition, movement, health & wellbeing, compassion and fun in our local community. In addition, nurturing a next-generation of non-dieters and mindful eaters.
Kind and respectful contribution is both welcome and appreciated. All members are unique with unique experiences, backgrounds, beliefs and opinions. Conversation generated is intended to be open-hearted, of a sharing nature, non-judgemental and free of intentional harm.

As a dietitian with 19 years experience (and more years as a chronic dieter) I know that endless yo-yo dieting can leave you thinking about food and eating (and not eating) for most of your day.
I know how dieting and being stuck on your plate (constantly thinking about food and weight) can start to crowd out joy and living. You already know it's not about food (and dieting makes it all about the food), it's about how and why you eat.
My goal is to demystify mindful eating and put it into everyday context and help people create a new relationship with food and eating by taking care of their SELF.
