The walks currently on offer are "Hidden Oporto" and "City Walls".

Hidden Oporto Walking Tour

This tour is for those visitors (or residents) who have already seen some of the main sights of Oporto, and are looking for an experience that will give them a deeper understanding of this historic city.

The walk takes you through country lanes and old streets with picturesque houses and magnificent views, taking in churches, fountains and traditional shopping streets.

The morning section is relatively rural, skirting the Gardens of the Palácio Cristal (Crystal Palace), whilst the afternoon section takes you through the medieval town including the old Jewish quarter, finishing at the Ribeira by the river Douro, the ideal spot for a meal, taking a boat trip or visiting the Port Wine cellars across the Luís I (King Louis I) bridge.

City Walls Walk

This tour follows the route of the 14th Century Fernandine Walls that used to encircle the city and delimits most of the Oporto World Heritage Site. You will see the parts of the walls still extant (far more than you might think), and wander through old streets that ran just inside the walls. There are excellent views (weather permitting) and stops for refreshments.

Part 1 of the walk (in the morning) is the eastern half of the circuit, Part 2 of the walk (in the afternoon) is the western half of the circuit. Join both walks for the complete tour.
