Oxnard PAL is a city-wide, after-school crime prevention program, which provides outreach to local youth, ages 7 to 18, at no cost to participants.

Mission Oxnard PAL strives to build positive relationships between youth, police officers and the community. PAL's mission is to divert youth away from gangs and other criminal activity by providing a wide variety of positive alternatives under the care and supervision of trained police officers, recreation staff and community volunteers.
Description

Activities offered at Oxnard PAL include: basketball, flag football, girls' volleyball, girls' softball, boxing, dance, homework help, leadership, mentoring, arts & crafts and general recreation.
