Description Pacific Solar & Photovoltaics, Inc. is a 100% homegrown Guam company specializing in the design, supply and installation of solar photovoltaic systems and solar hot water systems.

In 2008 Pacific Solar & Photovoltaics was created and most of the first year in business was filled with industry training, aligning with US vendors, and designing a roof-mount system that can withstand up to 170 mph sustained winds.

In early 2009 Pacific Solar & Photovoltaics “flipped the switch” on Guam’s first NET Metered photovoltaic system. This first system was in line with the launch of Guam Power Authority’s interconnection agreement for renewable energy sources. Through out 2009 we continued to install the next 5 net metered PV systems as well as several residential solar hot water systems.

In 2010 several residential projects as well as a few medium commercial projects were completed to include the Guam Community College and the Hagens Inc. warehouse. The Hagens Inc. warehouse was the first Guam business to receive a USDA REAP grant for the installation of a photovoltaic system.

In early 2011 a 50 kilowatt photovoltaic system was installed for Louis Vuitton at the Tumon Sands Plaza which was the largest privately owned PV system on island at that time. Also, in 2011 an additional 95 kilowatts was installed for NavFac Marianas as well as a handful of residential clients.

In 2012 more than 200 KW of PV was installed made up of miscellaneous residential, military, and educational facilites. The key project for 2012 was a 100 KW PV system at the St. Francis Catholic School in Yona. As of the end of 2012 the St Francis Project was Guam’s largest on the private sector.

2013 over 250 KW of PV was installed. In addition, Pacific Solar & Photovoltaics has achieved the SolarWorld Authorized Installer status and is an active member of the newly formed Guam Renewable Energy Association and the Guam Chamber of Commerce. We have introduced the island of Guam to Solar Power Purcha
