Paralyzed Veterans of America, New England Chapter: Serving Veterans and the Disabled Community throughout New England since 1947.
New England PVA provides its over 900 members are adaptive snow skiing, kayaking, bowling, fishing and biking. We also provide community outreach programs such as our “What’s It Like” program, visiting area schools teaching children about life in a wheelchair and that anything is possible, you just find a different way to accomplish it. Most importantly, we visit each of New England’s VA Spinal Cord Injury care facilities and patients throughout New England advocating and ensuring access to quality healthcare for our Members through our Chapter Hospital Liaison program and by also working closely with our PVA Veteran Service Officers. New England PVA also works to ensure accessiblity in public buildings and spaces for Veterans and all people with disabilities throughout New England.
