|About||We teach insightful mindfulness meditation and mindful eating to individuals, groups and in corporate settings in Connecticut and the greater NYC area.|
The goal of all our programs is for participants to fully engage in their lives. Mindfulness can be used to treat chronic pain, depression, stress, anxiety, gastro-intestinal distress, insomnia, fatigue, high blood pressure, heart disease and cancer. We teach:
* mindfulness meditation, an insightful meditation that helps calm the chatter of your thoughts and aids in any of the aforementioned issues;
* mindful eating, which is not a diet but a way to develop a good relationship with food that if needed, will help you lose weight.
* and the structured 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stressed Reduction program, based on what is offered at UMass Medical School.
