Kirsty Cavill RVN BSc (Hons) is a qualified and registered veterinary nurse with over 25 years experience. She has worked in small animal practice and with exotic and zoo animals. She has a special interest in behaviour and the care of senior patients. Kirsty is currently training to be a Galen Myotherapist. Galen Canine Myotherapy is a series of specialised targeted massage techniques to manage muscular pain and inflammation associated with chronic conditions including; osteoarthritis, OCD, elbow and hip dysplasia, compensatory issues, spondylitis, CDRM, and cruciate issues.
Kirsty is passionate in the belief that there is so much more we can do to enrich the lives of our senior dogs especially those suffering from chronic conditions. The management of arthritic conditions is an area of particular interest. Kirsty is currently accepting case studies from the South Devon area. Veterinary consent is required prior to any treatment and charges are not applicable for case studies. Each case will receive three treatments in the comfort of their own home, usually a week to ten days apart, an exercise programme will be offered and a vet report produced at the end of the treatments.
