|About||PCPC MOPS is a place for moms to build and deepen friendships, share ideas, and grow in their faith. We welcome all mothers pregnancy through Kindergarten.|
The preschool years are filled with unique needs that other moms in this season instinctively understand. Our motto is “Better Moms Make a Better World” and the goal of PCPC MOPS is to help you be the best mom you can be!
PCPC MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Monday mornings following the school calendar (late August through May). Childcare is provided by our wonderful team of professional, background-checked sitters.
You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers!
My child is not in Preschool, can I still come to MOPS?
MOPS is intended for mothers with children who have not yet entered first grade in school. So, whether your child is 3 days, 3 years or is currently attending kindergarten, we would LOVE to have you at MOPS.
Will there be childcare?
Childcare is provided for 6 months through 5 years old. This program is called MOPPETS. Children younger than 6 months are welcome to stay with their mothers during the meeting.
What is the cost for MOPS?
In addition to the once yearly $25 MOPS International membership fee which gives you a box of fun things from MOPS Intl, MOPS emails and the quarterly MOPS magazine, there is a $35 fee per semester (8 -10 sessions per semester dependent on how days fall on the calendar). This covers supplies for creative activities, childcare costs, speaker honorariums, and more. Register early for a discount! We never want a mom to feel she cannot attend because of finances (No Mom Left Behind!) so scholarships are available. Please speak to the Finance Director. All scholarship information will be confidential.
When does MOPS meet?
PCPC MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Monday mornings following the school calendar (late August through May). We have play dates on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at various locations around Martin County. Occasionally we also have Mom’s Night Out for just us moms! Cost of play dates and MNO is not included in the semester fee.
Do I have to come all the time?
There is no REQUIREMENT to attend
