ABOUT ME THE ARTIST
There is a new wave of local talent flowing from Montego Bay. From this small city there is a young lady by the name of Pinksque Green. The city of Montego Bay nurtured her and her talent after returning from her formal studies in the capital city of Kingston. Shortly after her returned she worked with her family before branching out on her own on projects she received and worked on in the Sangster International Airport; eight to date, Ten on the Falmouth Historic Pier, one at the Freeport and several private homes and commercial properties and also the now landmark of Hopewell in the parish of Hanover; Smoked Marlin. Architecture itself is a fine art which transferred to the canvas with acrylic and other mixed mediums to installations of art. She is one of the only persons now alive today who can give you a complete Built Environment from start to finish. Most companies only offer one or two services but in a male dominated field she has mastered Architecture, Construction and Interior Design. Faux finishes is one of her forte. She has delved into other loves such as music production and performance art by starting a small company which offers models, dancers and stage acts.
After doing years of fine art exhibition with the Jamaica Artist Guild in varying places locally and internationally she has now embarked on doing a solo production of he first show which will be at Smoked Marlin on March 1st until 8th. Smoked Marlin itself is a restaurant which offers both local and international cuisine. There is a Sunday brunch which starts at 10am and this is when the exhibit will open on that day. At 4pm which is dinner time there will be a floor show which consists of Fashion and cabaret. Featured will be Tishorna Burke and 4 Efect. For the eight days of the exhibition CPJ will be serving wine and smoked Marlin will be serving hors o oeuvres. The featured fashion which includes clothing and accessories will be on sale during the exhibition.
