The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival is the world's largest lobster festival and features fresh discount Maine lobster meals and plenty of entertainment. Lobster lovers enjoy a scenic outdoor setting along the LA Waterfront adjacent to historic Battleship IOWA in the Los Angeles neighborhood of sunny San Pedro. After feasting on world-famous Maine lobster meals, guests enjoy dancing, flash mobs, street performers, tall ships, shopping for arts and crafts, and live musical performances by classic bands and hot new artists.
Past performers include Berlin, Common Sense, General Public, Dave Wakeling and the English Beat, Andrew Watt, Jason Mraz, Scissors For Lefty, Kitten, The Blasters, The Young Dubliners, Run River North, Tristan Prettyman, and Los Straitjackets.
In 2013, the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival set THREE Guinness World Records™: most lobsters cooked simultaneously in the same cooker (950); largest serving of lobster (1,126 lb., 8.8 oz.), and most lobsters served in eight hours (9,060).
