Located in the Westside Provisions District, Preserving Place is Atlanta’s only home for cooking classes, specialty cooking supplies and house-produced preserved food. Founded by Martha McMillin, Preserving Place draws inspiration from South Carolina Piedmont heritage and the refined architecture of Charleston. With fond memories of growing up on a farm that once produced cotton and peaches, McMillin is excited to share her knowledge of preserving foods and canning that was passed down from generation to generation. Preserving Place is located at 1170 Howell Mill Road, Suite P10b between Steven Alan and J.Crew, on the plaza level of White Provisions, beneath Abattoir Restaurant.
