Project Believe is a weekly group for gay, bisexual, pansexual, curious, discreet and straight men, who enjoy some occasional guy action.
To serve the LGBT+ community in the surrounding Los Angeles County area with bilingual substance abuse and HIV prevention as well as mental health counseling services, to heal and enrich the community’s overall well being. In hopes to encourage our clients to continue participating in, and contributing to, the world around them.
Project believe seeks to create resilience in queer, questioning and curios youth, ages 13-24. We want to provide positive coping skills so they won’t rely on drugs to hide negative emotions. Encourage them to be freaky and fun during sex while still being smart and safe. Prepare them to recover and respond to a world that can be hateful and violent. Create an environment that supports individuality and identity.
We explore REAL solutions to REAL problems that are unique to gay, bisexual, discreet, questioning and curios teen boys and young men. Through a weekly group setting we provide a variety of hand on activities, workshops, guest speakers and discussions. Group topics will tackle issues about sex, drugs, family rejection, depression, anxiety, bullying, identity and relationships.
