|About||Serving halal Asian street food made with passion, authentic taste and flavors to everyone in Greater Memphis Area.|
Listiana and Arin, the chefs and owners of Quasi halal Asian Street Food share their story.
Listiana said "When I was a child, my parents brought me to eat sate at the Sate Food Cart. That was way back when I was living in Indonesia. It was a fond memory, and it became my dream to have my own food truck serving sate one day."
"My friend Arin and I love to cook. We want to share our passion on food - authentic Indonesian food, its intense flavor and taste to everyone in America, particularly in the city of Memphis. We started with our signature dishes - Sate Ayam (seasoned skewered grilled chicken) and Ayam Penyet (smashed fried chicken). We also serve Beef Rendang (slow cooked spicy meat), Empal (Indonesian beef jerky), Indonesian Fried Rice and Fried Noodle. I would like to introduce the Soto (Indonesian Soup) to my clients one day, as that is my favorite soup!"
Arin added in,"There was not any authentic Indonesian food being sold in Memphis. I often share my home made Indonesian food with my former co-workers. I would love to have a food truck roaming around the Greater Memphis Area, bringing authentic Indonesian cuisine to everyone."
