Queen Margaret University cover
Description

At Queen Margaret University, we offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of healthcare; drama and the creative industries; media, communication and sociology; and business and enterprise. We also have a number of continuing professional development (CPD) courses, which will be of interest to anyone who is wishing to update their current professional skills.

We recognise that becoming a student is a big step and there are a number of factors that you’ll need to consider in advance. QMU is here to help and offer advice on a range of matters that may affect you.

Our Recruitment and International Liaison Office is here to help and advise you through all the stages of the application process. If you have any queries about entry requirements, UCAS, or just general worries about coming to university, our friendly staff is here to help.

If you live outwith the UK, the Recruitment and International Liaison (RILO) Office is definitely your first point of contact at QMU. As an international student, you will have a different school qualification to our UK students and the RILO team are able to advise on what you’ll need to get into our courses. They will also help you make moving and studying in a new country a stress free experience. If you are thinking of coming to QMU as an international student, please visit the international students section of our website, where you will find information on applying, fees, language support and cost of living.

We also recognise that not every one leaves school and goes immediately to university. You may have spent a few years working, may be at college, or may be returning to education after having a family. At QMU, we consider all applicants over 21 as a mature student and we can provide information, advise and guidance on making this transistion to university: you may have concerns about child care as you study, you may be scared about essay writing – whatever it is, we can help.
