|About||The Racial Justice Network is a registered charity. Based and covering the Leeds Region. Raising awareness, tackling race and social inequalities.|
The current economic situation means austerity measures have increased poverty and deprivation thereby laying blame on migrants. New policies that are being pushed through the system are targeting the vulnerable as well as getting more unequal so there is a need for those on the margins to get informed, mobilised and to get politically engaged so as to push back. We believe we can do this by engaging with marginalised communities, holding more conversations about racial justice and encouraging them to get active.
-Listening to BME community needs and responding collectively and in solidarity to challenges to racial justice.
-Mobilise dis-empowered communities and individuals by raising awareness about racial inequalities/ issues.
-Liaising, discussing and challenging policies, rules and actions.
