|About||Yoga is a great recovery support to relieve insomnia, pain, anxiety & stress. Challenging yoga class directly followed by a 1/2 hour sharing circle.|
Recovery Yoga helps students ease anxiety, increase flexibility, and reduce pain & stress usually associated with the physical, mental and spiritual dis-ease of addiction. Those who suffer from addiction and the people who love them come together to practice a challenging (usually vinyasa), yoga class directly followed by a 1/2 hour sharing circle.
Students have been coming together from all over the tri-county area to attend this regularly scheduled donation class since 2014.
Inspired by Y12SR, Yoga for the 12 Steps of Recovery, this class is an adjunct to, not a replacement for, meetings, sponsors or any other type of recovery program.
