Mr. Robert E. Reece, our founder and director has been Surveying and Mapping in the Florida Keys since 1996. In the beginning. Reece & Associates began as Lender Services with 2 employees, Bob and his wife Judy, and in the last 20 years it has grown into Reece & Associates, now employing 10 people, including 3 Professional Surveyor and Mapper's. And throughout this growth, Reece & Associates has remained headquartered on Big Pine Key.
From the beginning, our reputation was built on repeat business and client references. Over the years, we have established relationships with local developers to complete large and small scale Boundary, Topographic & Mean High Water Line surveys, elevation certificates, establish benchmarks, roof peak letters and as-builts. We have also established relationships with Monroe County, the City of Key West, and the City of Marathon to complete Boundary & Topographic surveys and plan and profile drawings of existing conditions. We also work with construction companies to complete construction staking. And we work with many realtors to complete Boundary Surveys & Elevation Certificates for home purchases. Our firm has been successful in retaining client relationships some as long as 10 years, due to our team being committed to providing personalized service, economical estimates, meeting or exceeding timelines, and providing a quality survey that complies with all state statutes and local requirements.
Reece & Associates prides itself on staying current with technology and retaining professionals to continue to provide for our clients growing needs. We have successfully recruited two graduates from the University of Florida Geomatics Program. We utilize both the Florida Department of Transportation's(FDOT's) Florida Permanent Reference Network(FPRN) and the Trimble Network for Real-Time Kinematic(RTK) GPS work.
