Description The Restaurant Rescue Project seeks to reallocate food waste and combat local hunger through student-driven initiatives, with a focus on community integration and sustainable engagement.

Through a network of donors and receivers, the student-run system works to combat food waste on a community level. The project partners with local restaurants, grocery stores, and supermarkets, which donate usable food that would otherwise be wasted. Student volunteers operate regular shifts and transport food from these donors to receiving facilities, including soup kitchens, halfway houses, and shelters.
