I was a stay-at-home mom to my six month old son when I was first introduced to Scentsy in October 2010. I immediately fell in love with the products and knew that I wanted to become a Scentsy Independent Consultant.
I joined Scentsy 3 days later and it has been a whirlwind of excitement ever since!
I absolutely LOVE my job! Why?
I am my own boss. This has to be the most liberating part of my job. I make my own schedule. I don’t have to worry about asking for sick days or vacation days. I can work full-time or part-time. I’ll admit, this takes some self-discipline, but it is worth it!
I have the opportunity to travel. Because of Scentsy, I have traveled to Dallas, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada for National Conventions; Orlando, Florida and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (for FREE) on incentive trips; and Cancun, Mexico (twice) for Scentsy Leadership Retreats. I had never traveled much before I started my business and now I feel like I’m quite the jet-setter.
My job is FUN! I literally “party for a living!”
I get the opportunity to give back to my community. I had always wanted to be more of a philanthropist and now I can be. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is being able to do fundraisers for individuals and groups in my community and afar. In the past two years, I have been able to donate thousands of dollars to individuals in need, dance studios, theater groups, and sports teams.
I love meeting new people and rekindling old friendships. I have made so many new friends from all of the country through my business. True friends. I have also rekindled and strengthened many relationships through my business. With all of the social media that we have available to us these days, it’s easy to stay in touch with my Scentsy friends…no matter how close or far away they live.
