Giving families with a sick or seriously injured child a "home-away-from-home" so they can be together and close to the medical care they need to thrive.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® Manitoba supports the health and well-being of children by providing a “home away from home” and other services for critically ill, chronically ill and seriously injured children and their families.
We are part of the RMHC global network and provide support for sick or injured children and their family through a welcoming, safe and compassionate environment. We also provide services such as our continental breakfast program, meal programs, pet therapy, massages, manicures, haircuts, tickets to local events, special visitors, transportation, laundry, parking and so much more. Initially supporting families with oncology (cancer) patients, RMHC Manitoba now offers support for families with critically ill, chronically ill and seriously injured children. We have also extended support to premature and high-risk pregnancies. We are proud to support all families with sick or injured children who are receiving care at a nearby hospital and work closely with our pediatric healthcare partners to identify families in need.
