The Rooney Family is no stranger to the beer and pub business. Their roots go back to the turn of the 20th Century when Dan Rooney opened the family’s first Pub on the corner of Corey and General Robinson Streets where Three Rivers Stadium later stood in Pittsburgh, PA. In 1933, the family entered the brewing business in Braddock, PA. Today, the family celebrates both its Celtic and Pittsburgh Pride with the next generation of brews starting with: Rooney’s Old Irish Ale.
